Posture

"The unique quality of the whole performance (of upright posture) lies in the reduction of effort."

W. H. M. Walter Carrington, from Balance as a Function of Intelligence

All types of postural problems are addressed in Alexander Technique lessons, including scoliosis, sway back, and slouching.  The approach is indirect, working toward a more and more subtle balance overall, as the place where the problem presents is typically not the root of the problem.
